The newspaper Welt am Sonntag (“World on Sunday”) is a German national Sunday newspaper — Check out the feature they did on Israel ‘IZ’ Kamakawiwo`ole….it’s in German of course.

The buzz is all about IZ rocking the charts at #1 in the German TOP 100 Singles for his rendition of “OVER the RAINBOW” for 3 consecutive weeks now.  His album “FACING FUTURE” is #11 on the German TOP 100 Albums chart as well! Can’t believe this local boy is still making waves around the world 13 years after his passing.

He is truly a Hawaiian Sup’pa Man.
